My Little Rock Star

Tristan is getting so big! Musical talent runs in the Hardesty blood, my husband, brother in law and father in law can play any stringed instrument you put in front of them, my mother in law and father in law can sing beautifully! When Tris was about 3 months old he started tapping his foot to music and now he sings ALL the time and plays all sorts of music, he can make absolutely anything a guitar or a drum, it is pretty amazing! He loves to sing, I mean LOVES to sing. Here are a couple of photos and a sweet little video!

Yep, you read right! Happy Annifatbirthday!

June is a chaotic month for us no matter how you slice it. June is my father's birthday, my parents anniversary, my mother in laws birthday, my father in laws birthday and father's day for my husband, father and father in law and generally it is the month we go on vacation.
So this year we decided to have one big party celebrating everything, hence Annifatbirthday was created! Please enjoy the photos from a very fun day full of food, family and laughter!

What a day!!!

Today my son wouldn't nap. Well I NEED nap time, so I said, "ok you have to have quiet time" and I layed him down on my bed and put in a movie. About 30 minutes later I heard him calling me and I went in there to find him saying, "I washed my face, and I washed my hair and I washed my blankies and binky." What he neglected to mention was that he washed them with VASELINE!!!!!

Our poor cat Tiger is, well, obese. He was 26 pounds and he's finally down to 22 pounds. We don't actually know if he lost 4 pounds or if when they shaved him yesterday, they cut off 4 pounds of hair.... You see every year we have to have Tiger shaved (he is 4 years old), he is so big and furry (mostly big) that he can't reach his bottom to clean himself, so we must have him shaved. Every year when he first gets home, his sister, Lilly (who you can see in the background) hisses at him for a good week, until she finally realizes that it is actually her brother, or she actually thinks each year we get rid of one cat and bring home another....which wouldn't altogether surprise me, as most of you know Lilly has 6 claws on one foot, 7 on the other and her dew claws (which should be in front) are in back. She is also cross eyed....yes we hit the jackpot with her, with all that said, we also think she is retarded, so who knows what she is thinking! Ok enough about the cat.

I'm so excited I won an Editor's Award for the above photo! yeah, we are award-winning photographers! I'm so excited. They aren't done judging so there is a possibility I will win for a few others, I saw that 4 other images were in the final judging round! Woo hoo! We get to photograph the cutest kiddos!

My friend, Brooke, from church brought her kiddos to me to do their photos today. Seriously cute kids (as you can see. Tristan was home and was excited to see his friends. Yet again, I was reminded why I don't get work done when Tris is home. he sat in my lap, took toys away from the other kids, tattled all the time. He is so funny and sweet, but Lord knows I can't work with him home! Here are some adorable shots of the Thames kiddos!

Happy 70th Birthday Uncle Roger!!!

My mom and Aunt planned an amazing birthday party for my Uncle Roger who turned 70 this past weekend, it was awesome to be there with family and see how much we really do love each other. It was neat to see the love that we have for each other inspite of being family! :o) Thanks for allowing us to capture such fun moments!
