Erik & Landon

I met the Lundervold Family through a donation bucket we had at the Sandy Police Department. The boy's dad, David called to tell me that they had lost one of their triplets almost 2 years ago after all 3 boys had been born at 26 weeks gestation, that's 14 weeks early. He wanted me to give the Bell's his number so if they needed to talk, they could talk to someone who had been there. A week or so later the boy's mom, Christine called me to ask how she could help out with the fundraising, in the course of our conversation I asked if I could do photos for the boys, since they are amazing kiddos and will be 2 soon. She was gracious enough to allow me to do their photos. I was able to meet them yesterday and do their photo shoot. Let me tell you, if there was ever an amazing, inspiring, precious family, this was them. They are so gentle with their boys and you can just see how much they adore them and treasure every minute they have with them. Erik and Landon will be 2 very soon and are happy and healthy! I learned yesterday about the kind of parent I need to be, gentle, more compassionate, and to really enjoy Tristan, not just get through the day with him. I needed to meet this family, they taught me so much without even knowing it. There are so many more that will be posted on the "recent photo session" of our website, I think I edited 90!!! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Beautiful Bella

I had the honor of doing some very special photos for my 16 year old next door neighbor yesterday. Emily is a lover of ALL animals! They have dogs and cats and even a horse, Willow. For a while they even had 2 ducks! Emily heard about this horse, over near the coast, who had been abandoned for nearly 2 months. So, of course, Emily and her mom and stable owner drove out and brought the horse home. She named her Bella. 2 days ago at Bella's Dr.'s appointment they found out that Bella has cancer, the doctor thinks she's had it for a long time. They were given the option to put her down or just wait it out. Horses don't get better from cancer, this lump that Bella has is the largest the Dr. had ever seen. Emily has decided to keep Bella at the stable (which the stable owner, Ken, has given her free rent for Bella since she is rescued) and just let her be a horse who is loved until it is her time to go. So yesterday I was able to go and capture some great moments of Emily and the Beautiful Bella.

Sweet Baby Teagan

I did Teagan's mommy's maternity photos/family photos and his big brother's 2 year old photos a few weeks ago! Teagan came a couple weeks early (he'd be due today in fact!) but he is healthy and handsome! My friend Jenna, who designs digital scrapbooks, also made these amazing birth announcements! Her contact info will soon be on my website, so keep an eye out for it!! I just wanted to share Teagan's photos!

OK, so we just finished the final proofing for Calcagno Pediatrics Research & Development Center. Above are the images we have chosen to post. This is the first time our photos will be displayed like this! The images will be in the main lobby and all over the hallways of the center! We will soon be decorating their waiting room in the pediatrics office as well as the main lobby of the Family Birth Center at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center. I'll keep you posted as we go on!

Random Things!

So I've been reading a few of my friends blogs and they have been talking about funny conversations with their kids. I thought that was a great idea, so I too would like to share some funny moments with Tris, like our conversation while we were at Mexican food last night!
Mommy: Tristan, look at the beans daddy has on his face!
Tristan: (laughs)

Mommy: Oh my! Isn't that funny?!
Tristan (in a very comforting tone): It's ok mommy! It's just beans!

Or what he said during our garage sale on Saturday when the garage was FULL of people.
Tristan: What are you doing mommy?
Mommy(I was trying to fit through a tiny space!): I'm trying to get my bottom through here.
Tristan: yeah it has poop in it.
**Thank you Tristan for making the entire garage full of people snicker!**

I collected the money from the donation buckets today and deposited it into the Bell Family Relief Account and it totalled $905.75 in just 10 DAYS!!! I am so honored and blessed by the generosity of the community!
We are planning a 5 miles walk/run in memory of Maddox and in honor of Mason (who is doing much better) it will be on June 21st, we are thinking it will be in Gresham, but are still working on a location. I'll let you know when it is finalized. If any of you want top participate or help us advertise please let us know!

I even got to go out to dinner with my girlfriends, Stacy & Kira. We went to Red Lobster (gotta love their blackened salmon!!) it was a blast, I am so grateful for those kind of friends!

Below are some photos from our garage sale, we had a random lady from our neighborhood drop off a ton of stuff to sell and give the proceeds to the Bell Family that was cool! The teenage girls are my precious neighbor Emily and her friends Rachel & Heaven.
