4th of July

Above: The many faces of Tristan just before fireworks started on the 4th of July

Above: Tristan decided that even though is was barley 68 degrees outside on the 4th of July, he still wanted to play naked in the pool! Oh well, at least he kept his clothes on for basketball with daddy!

Above: The neighborhood parade

Above: Tris hanging out with Grandma, he missed her while we were on vacation! I made the shirt he is wearing (yes it is just marker on a white t-shirt...I'm not very creative!) But the front said "My dad is a combat veteran" and the back said "Proud son of an American Hero" It was really cute!

Above:Fireworks that lasted till 10:15 at night, Tristan thought it was a bit loud at times, but barb loaned him her ear plugs and he plopped down on his John Deere Power Wheels and enjoyed the show! As you can see it was pretty cool!

Our 4th was so great. We live in this amazing neighborhood, where our neighbor's Barb & Stephanie organized this awesome parade for all the neighborhood kids to march in through the neighborhood and then we had this great BBQ on our street with a TON and I do mean a ton of fireworks! I am getting into the swing of things with work again, we came home to busy! But it is good, I love my job! Saturday we went hiking at the Eagle Creek Trail in the Gorge. It was fun, but Tris was definitely a bit young for it. He wanted us to carry him the whole way.....not quite kid!!! John went back to work today after a week at home of kicking butt and taking names! :o) He built shelving system in our garage, cleaned the whole garage and took a bunch of stuff to Goodwill and the dump, we trimmed all the bushes and cleaned up the yard, hung there awesome Vinyl stickers that I bought from a friend of mine who sells Uppercase Living (http://www.uppercaseliving.com/) Check out the photos below!! Anyway I am hosting a party this Friday the 11th at 6:30pm at our house, everyone is welcome to come and check things out! Just let me know if you plan on being there!!! I have some great sessions coming up this week, I'll keep you posted!
Below: Photos of the UpperCase Living Vinyl I have in my house! I LOVE THEM, they added such a fun touch that I really liked!!
"Kitchen, the heart of the home"
"Laundry Room, Loads of Fun"
"Where there is love there is life" (over our fireplace)
"Your love is my light, Sun of all my mornings, Fire of all my nights" (Over our bed)
"Watch Out For Falling Bubbles" (over our deep bathtub that Tris plays in all the time)
